Tourist Guide – Fjord Region of Norway 2026
Møre og Trøndelag Guideservice AS is looking for 10 tourist guides for the summer season 2026. This is a unique opportunity to work in some of the most beautiful destinations in Norway, including Geiranger, Ålesund and Trondheim.
About the role

Guiding international tourists on bus, walking and hiking tours

Storytelling and presenting Norwegian culture and nature

Creating entertaining and informative guest experiences

Working in an international team environment

Travelling between different fjord destinations

Tours take place in:

Geiranger / Hellesylt

Nordfjordeid

Olden
-
Åndalsnes
-
Molde
-
Kristiansund

Ålesund

Trondheim
Requirements
-
Fluent German or English – required
-
Additional language preferred:

Good communication skills

Service-minded and customer friendly

Responsible and flexible attitude
Advantage (not mandatory)

Driving licence B

Previous guiding or tourism experience
Personal qualities

Outgoing and sociable personality

High motivation and flexibility

Ability to work with people from different cultures

Willingness to travel by car, bus and ferry outside regular hours
