Outdoor Activity Guide – Kayak, Hiking & Biking – Norway 2026
Uteguiden AS, one of Norway’s largest adventure companies and the leading guiding firm in Møre og Romsdal, is looking for 10 talented guides for the summer season 2026. The work takes place in spectacular Norwegian landscapes with fjords, mountains and ocean as your daily workplace.
About the role
As a guide at Uteguiden you will:
- Lead kayaking, hiking and biking tours
- Create safe and memorable experiences for guests
- Share stories about nature, culture and local environment
- Assist with practical tasks outside guiding
- Work with tours from 2–3 hours to multi-day adventures
Work locations
Bases in:
- Valldal
- Ålesund
- Hellesylt
- Molde
- Geiranger
Requirements
- Fluent English – required
- Driving licence B – required
- Valid first aid certification (minimum wilderness first aid)
- Experience in outdoor guiding and storytelling
- Basic digital/IT skills
- Technical qualifications for sea kayaking (essential)
Essential certifications
- Sea Kayak Leader / Activity Leader Sea / BCU Sea Kayak Leader or equivalent
- Hiking and/or cycling guide certification
Advantage
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language
- Education or experience in tourism and service
- Candidates from the EU will be prioritised
