Activity & Tour Guide – Ålesund / Geiranger, Norway

Geiranger Adventure AS is looking for 4 active and service-minded tour guides for the summer season 2026. The role combines guiding active tours such as kayaking and biking with sightseeing tours by bus in some of Norway’s most famous destinations.

Main responsibilities

• Guiding kayaking and biking tours
• Assisting on sightseeing tours by bus
• Ensuring guest safety during all activities
• Crowd management in busy cruise destinations
• Delivering high-quality service and memorable experiences

Requirements

• Fluent English – required
• Additional language is an advantage (German preferred)
• Proven kayak experience or relevant licence/certificates
• Driving licence B – required
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Outgoing, welcoming and service-oriented personality

Work locations

Most work will take place in:

• Ålesund
• Geiranger
• Olden
• Hellesylt
• Other nearby ports

Employment details

• Type: Seasonal, full-time (100%)
• Working hours: Daytime shifts, all days according to schedule
• Start: By agreement
• Number of positions: 4
